UP FOR THE CUP WITH VC BET
What a week-end coming up with a feast of live football taking place and the romance of the FA Cup with the 4th round matches.
First up on BBC1 at 12.30 is Newcastle’s trip to League Two side Cheltenham at Whaddon Road. Supporters are calling for Souness to go and the Geordies must demolish their rivals to keep their manager in a job. Alan Shearer still needs one goal to beat Jackie Milburn’s all time record.
At 5.40 the BBC cameras cover the action when Bolton entertain Cup holders Arsenal at the Reebok. The Gunners are like good wine this season – they just don’t travel – and Wenger’s men need to get their act together against Big Sam’s “Ugly” football side.
Sunday sees two absolute crackers with lowly Portsmouth hosting high-flying Liverpool at Fratton Park in a 4.00 kick off and hoping not to concede a handful of goals as they did last week-end and the BBC cameras will be showing all the action.
SkySports1 are covering the game between Championship side Wolves who play Manchester United at Molineaux and Hoddle’s men will be up for upsetting the Cup second favourites.
